Another week, another gritty win.
The Packers moved into a tie for the most wins in NFL history with a heart-pounding overtime win against a 3rd string quarterback.
It may not have won a lot of style points, but the defense was very strong and the offense came through in the end.
Here are the 3 biggest questions that will determine the outcome of the game:
- Can the defense keep it up? Yes. The offense put them in a bad position with a pick 6 and a 3 and out that gave the Patriots the ball near midfield in overtime, but in the last 3 drives of the game, the defense forced three 3 and outs.
. - Can Christian Watson catch? Maybe? Hopefully? He needs to get a little rapport with Rodgers so the QB knows where to put the ball for him and he can feel where to go for it. Once they get that down, we can talk more about the hands. However, we do know this: that boy can fly!
. - Can the Packers avoid injuries? Adrian Amos was missed. Making matters worse, Rudy Ford had to play extra snaps in relief, limiting his effectiveness on special teams. However, based on Amos’s Twitter comments, he’ll be ok.
